We are in agreement, but I was not considering an attack on the US,
except for a possible biological terrorism scare. The more likely
scenario is flare ups around the globe with US forces unfortunately
caught in the middle, but that isn't directly an oil topic.

Hopefully, some change in direction will be forthcoming in Japan
and the rest of Asia. The combination of rising bonds and dropping
oil and gold, coupled with the problems in Russia, Japan and the
rest of Asia, plus the newly nuclear India and Pakistan signal to
me that major forces are changing the world with consequences yet
unforseen. Hopefully these changes will be financial consequences
that can be worked out with patience. If this is the case, then I
suspect that both oil and gold will be out of favor for some time.

Then again, the world could be like a dynamite factory - and someone
has flipped in a live cigarette butt. I sure hope not.
