Calm down there, Robert. Don't get hot around the collar. Henry's grasp of the science is not the issue. There might be abstracts or papers that help him see what is being done, like every other scientist out ther who has to keep up on his journal reading to learn what is being done and how it's being done. GO ahead and ask Henry is keeps up on the biomolec jounrals. I bet you he does being that he is an assist. prof and all.

the issue of importance is the speculation or telegraphing of what ligand will soon publish, etc. These morsels of info probably comes from someone close to the company. Has it been your assumption that Henry has been the modern day Merlin that can "see" the future?
It's as if you just learned that the easter bunny really doesn't exist and your mad that you have been lied to for all this time.

Bob, I think that most readers on the board know where the vast majority of my info originates. LGND publishes quite extensively and quite a bit is written in the popular press also. Their coverage by analysts (Bear Stearns, Lehman, H&Q, Legg Mason, BARS) also provides much info about upcoming events, and some of the scientific meetings abstracts provide much more.

It really isn't all that hard to come up with the LGND posts that I put up. Some think that the info is inside info, which really isn't the case. Occasionally I hear rumors, but most often the info can be easily found right here on the internet, which is one of the reason that I created Links to Ligand ( home.att.net ). Of coursed some need help interpreting data, while others primarily post misleading info.
