Database growth: From my recent experience trying to get a Y2K assessment in motion for a small smart building, I'd quickly sign up for a "BuildingY2K" CD were it a major size building. Tava's database is immediately accessible. You don't need to track down vendors, contractors, distributors, etc., with a request that has no imperative in it for them to return your phone call. Basically, I was asking a vendor to look up old information and relay it to me out of courtesy. I wasn't exactly at the top of anyone's list of daily priorities. The TAVA CD cuts through being at the mercy of others and lets people get on with the real work of defining the problem and making a plan to fix it. Without such a tool, it's a lot of Dick Tracy stuff just to get to the starting gate.
