Mike, you know what they say; a puddle here, a puddle there, and pretty soon it adds up to an ocean.
$16/bbl oil's fine for the E&P cos as they mostly figure their budgets using $15-$17/bbl. But I doubt if it would cause more than a pit-a-pat in the hearts of investors, you need the higher price to arouse real passion. And since I mentioned passion, forget about Hubbert's curve, I doubt if you'd find 'his' attractive. But next time you visit the Bay Area, drop over to the coast and take a drive over Devil's Slide; it's got some real sweet curves, and some soft shoulders, too.<G>
