Well I am still reeling from today's action. My first reaction is that it has to be as a result of the Barron's article but more about that later. I like the Cybercash's idea but I too would be very wary of it. I think it still has a long way to go toward wide spread acceptability.

I do have some thoughts about ZAP tommorrow that can be had for a dime a dozen but what the heck.

-If Zap gives back more than 15% of today's gains then it was Barron's publicity that pumped it up and it wouldn't surprise me if it settles into the high teens in the days following.
-If Zap continues upward by 5% or more than the Barron's article may still be pushing it up but it could also be experiencing accumulation OR it could be a combination of both.
-If Zap stays stable and doesn't move either way more than 2% then I think it's a wait and see attitude and it will follow the sector's performance.

Of course I realize that these three things are common sense and most of you can draw similar conclusions but I think that checking out volume on ZAP is extremely important especially on the up days. Think of it this way. Over six million shares traded today. That's approx. 28% of the outstanding shares. The price was LO at 18.625 and HI at 22.5. That to me is pretty good support. What I found especially intriguing was that Monday's action stayed at the 2+ level for most of the morning and then it took off. Wouldn't you think that if the Barron's article was the main thrust of the incline it would have opened high and then receded. Very strange action I thought.

Now, if anyone has had patience to read this far then I would like to institute a "Rate Their Sites" exercise. Before starting something like this should I start a new thread or keep it here? I decided to take a close look at Bibliofind and have some specific thoughts about it that I will save for another post.
