Maybe I should ask you do you know what forgiveness is.........
Hint; If you do not ask God for forgiveness of sins what happens

What is your point Alan? I was and am serious. You can talk to many a counselor and they will tell you that you can not lay an issue down many times unless you have a mindset that can forgive the man who brought harm against your family. Does not matter at all if the man asks for it or not. Did the men who crucified Christ ask for forgiveness? Yet He gave it. Did the men who stoned Stephen ask for forgiveness? Yet he gave it.

Thats funny you should bring that up.......... He says he is a Christian so according to you I should not argue with my brother.

I don't think it funny at all. Saying one is a Christian is not the watermark of a Christian, would you agree?

Remember I am defending NOT attacking.

Ok, what exactly, are you defending??...............

I guess Paul was anti-Semitic also?

(Gal 1:6 NIV) I am astonished that you are so quickly deserting the one who called you by the grace of Christ and are turning to a different gospel--

(Gal 1:7 NIV) which is really no gospel at all. Evidently some people are throwing you into confusion and are trying to pervert the gospel of Christ.

(Gal 1:8 NIV) But even if we or an angel from heaven should preach a gospel other than the one we preached to you, let him be eternally condemned!

Were these not men coming in behind Paul, stirring up the people?(Acts 14:1-2 NIV) At Iconium Paul and Barnabas went as usual into the Jewish synagogue. There they spoke so effectively that a great number of Jews and Gentiles believed. But the Jews who refused to believe stirred up the Gentiles and poisoned their minds against the brothers.

Is this not what this is about? Well Paul is pretty hard on them isn't he? Eternally condemned? That is pretty rough.

And what about Johns lettter? He was pretty hard on them also. (1 John 2:22-23 NIV) Who is the liar? It is the man who denies that Jesus is the Christ. Such a man is the antichrist--he denies the Father and the Son. No one who denies the Son has the Father; whoever acknowledges the Son has the Father also.

These were hard words to hear I bet to the people it was written to, you think? Flat out call them(the ones who did not believe in the Son) liars!

I do agree with you that if one wants to remember feasts and days or sing Hebrew or read Hebrew, go for it. But no man will make that a law for me, as we have plenty of folks on the earth who want to be God's police.

How do we come to a point of discussion without the hatred of our "humanness" showing up? Got ideas?
