We all know what the "Private Thread" is really for!

The arguments in support of this laggard can't stand up to the light of day on the "Public Thread", and don't account for the financial, industrial, and technical facts that are so glaringly stacked against AMD!!!

$tar.

ps. I'd still be a buyer below $12 however!!!:-)

Re: "Are you going to Pony up some money and buy AMD at these wonderful bargain basement prices?"

I believe AMD is fairly attractively priced at these levels. However, since I have limited cash right now (just graduated school and don't start work until October), and since I am aware of at least one company with much better upside potential, I won't be buying any more AMD any time soon.

I consider myself one of the fortunate few who've actually made money on this stock. At this point, I only have 100 shares left, with a basis around $18, not a lot to be concerned about there.

The private thread exists and its actually quite good. It's mostly factual discussion--technology, posted articles, conference call summaries, etc. I don't think Robert has cause to edit anything out because the people who enjoy access to the thread are responsible about what they post. It's like this thread was for the first few months, except with less conversation and more information. People who are new to this thread really ought to read it from the beginning. It's quite interesting how it's changed significantly for the worst over the years.
