Whispernumber.com just changed its tune about AAPL. Here's the quote, straight from their front page:

The whispernumber.com whisper model has changed dramatically based on recent information. Hence, the new update on AAPL,ÿÿÿÿ .47

OK Steve, show us your stuff......

Gee, do you think Steve Jobs mentioning that Apple will show a profit this quarter at Macworld caused Whispernumber.com to change their "model" for calculating earnings (after previously pegging AAPL at -.02)?

Heh, 'tis sweet indeed.

<<<<Oh, by the way, you might advise Lisa to pay attention to the analysts on Wednesday, 7/15, during the Apple conference call. With Apple's 3 strong profitable quarters back to back and quarters 4 and 1 slam dunks with iMac introduction and xmas, the analysts will surely revise their 1999 earnings forecast.>>>>

btw, what's the conference call number? i think this quarter should be higher than last quarters because the last quarter was a traditionally slow quarter for apple. with this quarter, the higher margin g3's should make up a larger percentage of total sales than last quarter (of course, i don't know what to make of that 750,000 G3 number) and the Powerbook's should help out as well.
