<<The news over the last year or two has been very conservative>>

Go back a year, Scott, to the announcement of the PEARLGold plate. Back then, Presstek announced that beta testing would end in 3Q 97, with a commercial release announced at Print '97 in Sept '97. The product still hasn't been released.

My favorite is back earlier in 96, when Presstek announced that it was not conducting an offshore stock offering. A later quote actually said that they cancelled the offering. And a month later, the company issued a private placement far below the market price, essentially the same thing as an offshore offering. The only difference is semantics.

And if news reporting has been very conservative, why were shareholders forced to look into the 10-Q to find out that zero PEARLSetters were sold last year? Seems to me conservatism would demand that significant news like that would have been communicated by management.

I guess we have a different definitions of what conservative reporting by a responsible company is.

I think the cleanest way to get rid of all these lawsuits would be through chapter 11. They still have all these plaintiff stuff and it could go on forever. Who needs it? it just sucks out expenses
