No doubt about that, but as I have said here for the last year, once AMD ramps up production it will come out of Intel's pockets.

Not that AMD will ever make money like Intel, it won't, but it can jump as high as $40 a share as we have seen on smoke and mirrors.

Of course I have been waiting for a more than a year for AMD to solve its production problems and maybe I'll have to wait until they get bought out.

Believe me if AMD becomes crucial to CPQ's profits then AMD will survive---perhaps in the same form as DEC!
