3Com Corp. Unveilss Two Fiber Network Interface Cards

SANTA CLARA, Calif. -- 3Com Corp. (COMS) unveiled its fiber network interface cards for 10-megabyte-per-second and 100-megabyte-per-second Ethernet networks.

In a press release Monday, the company said the EtherLink XL 10BASE-FL PCI Fiber card is list at $199 a unit or $945 for a five pack.

The Fast EtherLink XL 100BASE-FX PCI Fiber card is priced at $299 each, or $1,445 for a five pack.

Maybe it is a positive for someone, but not for the street. Otherwise, COMS should be over 35 by now.
