I agree. The Palm Division is not considered big enough
to weigh into the valuation of COMS...this is how the street
views it.

BUT, they do see it as a possible GOLD MINE a few years (or
maybe sooner) down the road. So, they will keep an eye on
it. They also will be looking to see what the public
demand is and whether other companies are copying the idea,
and coming out with a better product.

AND, they are mostly looking to see if the Palm Computer evolves
into a much more sophisticated tool for professionals. That's
the trend everybody is looking at. NOT, "how much revenue
is 3Com going to make off of the Palm Pilot next quarter".
