Paul, there is nothing wrong with your decision. There will be plenty of time to get back into these stocks when the market for this sector recovers. I don't think they will take off like a rocket, as i thought they would have last year. The conditions for technology are just really gloomy and the recovery date keeps getting pushed back 6 months every quarter. Now they are saying no recovery till mid 1999, gee who would have thought that.

If you have time you might want to read Don's posts on the FSII thread. They are recent posts dated this weekend and early this week. He put together an interesting scenario of putting your money into something like Coca Cola while waiting for this sector to recoup.

I have another friend who is now playing stocks that will split and he is doing pretty well. I am going to look into that method also.
