It just really amazes me that on this thread he can NEVER be wrong.

Jim, you are clueless if you really believe this. I agree with our good Dr. Tony. Are you sure you don't want to rethink your apology for insulting the mostly good people here?

I don't know how many time I and others have said we don't agree with Brinker on picks, issues, choice of funds, asset allocation, etc., etc. and why. Just we are pretty decent and reasonable about how we say it unlike others...

Interesting post you make here: Message 5052291
Did you change your mind?

Kirk

It is one thing to benefit from Brinker's overall advice (whether on radio or in his newsletter) regarding diversification, asset allocation, choice of funds etc. etc. It is quite another to depend on him to precisely exit the market to dodge the bear and get back in time to ride the bull.

Most (if not all) of those who vehemently swear by Brinker and who assail those that point out Brinker's fallibility when it comes to stock-picking, especially in recent times, appear to be in the latter category.

Don't they know that Brinker blundered when he picked those stocks? Of course, they do! But then why the vehement attacks on those who point out the obvious? Maybe they are just terrified that he is going to miss either the next bear or the ensuing bull-market! Who knows?
