Re: "Should market capitalization determine the value of a stock?" and if so, "Why?" and further, "Show me a model for determining a fair stock price / valuation based on market cap." (with credit to CTC) For me it's a relative concern between company market caps. There is no way DELL should be priced at the same value of a MSFT or GE in the 300Bil range, that would be a 200% increase from here, so MSFT and GE have to go up or DELL increases from here will be slower.
