I understand they are adding something like .006 to the bottom line by adding in profits on stock sales. Maybe they need every little bit they can find. <G>

ASPs on PCs are going up. Why? With PIIs starting between $1000-$1200, no one is buying K6/Pentium PCs anymore. With 300-333 Mendicino coming in 6-8 weeks and selling in PCs for $800-$1200, K6 is in big trouble. Why? They wont get the volume they need to justify their costs. Sell on any upturn in this stock.

AMD and Intel should form a cartel for selling CPU's. No other manufacturer (except maybe National) makes Windows compatible CPU's. Competition right now is cut thoat; you can buy top of the line CPU for under $250. A little price fixing might help boost the bottom line since I am sure the market can support higher prices. I guess there is too much bad blood between AMD and Intel for any cooperation.
