Ira,

I fail to see why options expiration is a weight on the stock. Remember, each transaction has both a buyer and seller whether it be a call or a put. After making the spread why in the world a MM expose himself to the risk of having a position. Especially in a stock like CPQ where there are several MM's.

Regards,

Kman
