Re Clinton Speech.

All IMHO. Very solid speech. Set the right tone re the problem and the challenge it poses for everyone, and business in particular. Considerable focus by Clinton and Gore on the problem of embedded systems.

Gore's warm-up speech was probably the best I have seen him give. Clearly concerned, however, about the political risks Y2K poses for the Administration, and more specifically, for him. gggg.

All in all, I'd give Gore a firm B, and give the president an A. Having said that, it's about time!
