Large crowd as well, with the key Members of Congress front row -center (except for Morella of MD). Clinton set the right tone re the problem and the challenge it poses for everyone, and business in particular. Considerable focus by both Clinton and Gore on the problem of embedded systems. Provided multiple opportunities for me to raise my Tava banner. Heh heh. Imagine that, now even the president is a part of the Wexler Y2K Hoax theory! LOL! Gore's warm-up speech was probably the best I have seen him give. Clearly concerned, however, about the political risks Y2K poses for the Administration, and more specifically, for him. gggg. All in all, I'd give Gore a firm B, and give the president an A. And Starr was no where in sight. gggg. K
