INTC report will probably read something like: We told you that earnings may be slightly lower than last Q. Good news is that with the release of windows 98 and the Zeon chip income has started to jump up strongly. Then comes the Q&A. I think that analysts will want to know a lot more details than Intel will be able to provide. There has been a strong uptick in demand for computers since the release of windows 98 .. however, with the way that Intel has handled inventories at the end of quarter for the last several quarters it will be very hard to tell how much is sizzel and how much is steak.
