It is always good to see people with a mining background on these threads. Are you a student or do you work in some other capacity.

The important thing is we agree
drilling is performed, as in any geochemical investigation

It should be apparent to readers that the modeling software requires drill samples for input before a topographical representation of the orebody can be made. Thanks toma.

Great post on geochemical/geological data analysis. Most of the information was dead on. The only thing that I would add is on your last statement on getting results in a couple of weeks. Not sure if you were talking about start of drilling program to report but the drilling program could take many months to complete based on the grid pattern and depth, then several months to compile and model data and then complete a report. Sounds like the pay zone is in a conglomerate which could make it very hard to drill and get recovery.
