Good news on all fronts from [edited by me] Yahoo news article.

NEW YORK (Reuters) - Stocks rose in early trading on Tuesday.

"[The Consumer Price Index for June] shows once again that inflation is dead in the water," said Hildegard Zagorski, a market analyst at Prudential Securities.

Zagorski said the [retail sales for June] numbers indicated the economy is slowing, which should keep short-term interest rates stable in the near term.

Wall Street was also optimistic about second-quarter corporate earnings.

New hopes for economic recovery in Russia and Japan lifted stocks in Europe and Asia.

"Everybody is awaiting Intel (Corp.) results after the close."
