Todays day trading observations: Paine Webber is on the buy in the high 6's throughout the day. Based on Charlie O's upgrade statement (reread it), and based on the last several trading days I think PW is sending a message to the shorts--better cover cause we aren't allowing the stock price to erode from here. The shorts now either must capitulate and cover or sit on dead money or possibly lose money in the near future.

VLAD <<Vivus does have it's old core sales force still calling on urologists till years end. They have a bonus initiative based on sales that Vivus will pay if they do well. So why the assumption that there is no sales force now? Please get your facts straight.>> My facts are correct. The term I used was a " dedicated field force" ...meaning focusing only on MUSE. According to the press releases of both VVUS and Alza, the former VVUS sales representatives will be focusing on Alza's oncology and urological products and will sell MUSE on a "limited basis" until the end of the year. biz.yahoo.com investor.msn.com VLAD, At least we both agree that knowledge is power.
