Gall,

Unless I missed something, it seems your business mix argument is moot. CA has already transformed itself, and mightily so, into a premier mission-critical solutions provider in the open systems and client server environments. This year revenues from these products will exceed those from their traditional mainframe and related maintenance fees. I suggest you spend some time reviewing 10K and 10Q material.

As for the CA working environment, there are always at least two sides to every argument. Your opinions, and I remind you they are just that, hardly tell the whole story. Besides, there are plenty of "way cool", entrepeneurial, open environment companies out there sucking wind these days. What's that tell you?

Though I shouldn't bother to respond,
I said most of the people I know at CA are happy.
(I did not say they were my friends, but several are.)
Your reply, "... of your post that all CA people are damn
happy. It is true for dumm [sic] people only. " Therefore, you
are calling friends of mine stupid.
