Thanks for your comments. I agree with you that there doesn't seem to be clear pattern for their acquisitions. They aren't focused into any one area, (i.e. retailing, web software development etc.) I hope their current strategy is not an indication that they are throwing money at the web indiscriminately hoping that something will stick. I would like to see a pattern emerge and a potential for position dominance. Right now that just isn't the case. They are far from the next YHOO. I hope they read these threads. Best of luck to you.
