Oh, the Places You'll Go, Dr. Seuss. I guess you hit the big time now. A little study in black and white in the SEC files (my guess would be a very little study, consisting of an e-mail or two). Congrats!

btw, Dr. Singh does appear to get involved in a lot of stocks that go down significantly. I guess if he, Bill, or Pink shows up on one of my longs, it's time to reverse positions. <G>

How to print money.

There are two easy ways to get money. One is to go to the bank and borrow $100.
Unfortunately in a years time the bank will expect you to pay them back $110.
The other alternative is to put $100 towards shorting pure Y2K plays. Then in a
years time you will be asked to pay back $20 for the shares.

The following table is a quick and dirty calculation on what some of the Y2K plays
are worth. I have ordered from best short in my opinion down to worse short,
based on a combination of expected return and P/S. The first Free Money column
is based on shorting today and selling at book value on 1/2000. The second Free
Money column assumes that you buy 50% more shares every time the price drops by
a third (ie. maintaining the intial dollar value of the shares).

Est '00 is an estimate based on earnings of what they will earn between now
and 2000.

Three figures I made up. Zitel and ALYD have no estimates for the next year so I
threw in highly optimistic numbers. Secondly CRYSF has no book value listed
anywhere so I used 0 assuming that it must be negative.

I recommended shorting the ALTIF ***FRAUD*** at 13 a share. I'm still short.

I wonder if Gupper2 is going to tattle on me for pointing out the ALTIF ******F-R-A-U-D ******.
