Hi, Mohan. Some interesting news. - Hitachi semiconductors announces 1MB RAM chip for 1999, priced 6000$ each. Aimed to high-end servers and large systems. - From China Internet Network Information Center:"In first half of this year, number of Chinese people linked to Internet has doubled to one million-number of computers linked to the net up of 62% in same period. Forecasts of 7 millions users in 2001." Statistics: 92% men, 83% less than 35 years old, more than 50% graduates. - 88,9% complains for slow connections, 61,2% complains for high cost of connection. - News from ADN Kronos, a serious Italian press agency.
