It looks like the push to 300mm wafers is a hot topic these days - or at least the push out of these products - "The chip industry's slump -- which some have called the worst ever, has slashed company earnings and forced thousands of layoffs -- and is now threatening to slow the typically breakneck advance of semiconductor technology and the industry's transition to 300-mm wafers.
