Probart/all: This issue interests me...perhaps someone with a little knowledge of the innards of trading can comment. I see at least 4 possibilities:

1. MM sells (perhaps to another MM) at 3/8 attempting to incite more sells from panic. Later the transaction is canceled.
2. A seller places a market order, it fills at 3/8. Seller then checks the chart, realizes he has been worked over, and complains. Transaction is revised or cancelled.
3. <variation of 2> A sale is made at 3/8, then reviewed by MM or supervisor who revises/cancels it because it is out of bounds.
4. Just a plain old mistake.

This appears to have occurred several times since we have been trading on the pinks.

My apologies if this post appears twice. My first attempt never appeared on the thread.

Regards Eric
