i agree with you completely. the runup was without doubt caused by a rumor/news leak of some kind. the question is where did the leak come from? will the company confirm it? did it start at a regional broker, spread through trading floors, and finally make the dow newswire? what is our source. notice that all the dow reports reference "investors were speculating" and "sources said" we have no sense of where this came from. bobo, the shorts may be about to get killed, but then again perhaps the company will respond by denying the rumors. (don't hold your breath) my guess is we get a no comment out of john reed and the stock settles down. play on from there.
