Jim, as I pointed out before, the thing that separates entrepreneurs from the rest of us is that they are eternally optimistic. The don't see barriers, they see opportunities.

Now, regarding fear, there should be an SEC warning reading: "Shorting Dell is hazardous to your wealth".

JP,

>>> I think any company that is arrogant enough to state "We fear nothing,"
It may be themselves that they should fear the most.
Over confidence has let down many a share holder. <<<

IMHO - It would be difficult to try an run a company on 'fear'. I don't think that a company should 'fear' anything, that is not to say that the company shouldn't be prudent and on guard against losing their advantage, whatever it might be.

IMHO - DELL has nothing to 'fear', nor does CPQ or AMD for that matter! The companies must not squander their energies on 'fear' but utilize those energies for 'development' of their new products, or the competition of the 'free' market place.

Regards,

Ken
