stupid and yesterday they just fired the entire video graphics
development effort. That means the company will never develop
or sell any video chips, so they can sell only DRAM's.

But that was kind of stupid because there was good talent in
the video chip effort but they mismanaged it--I know because
I talk to people that got fired.

They will make a little money by saving on the salaries but they
lose opportunities for future new products.

Kind of says the management never knows what the hell they are
doing what do you expect from a bunch of olive-skinned indians
with white wives and Red BMW's.

Jimm, this is just part of what the company has told everyone that it was doing, ie. revamping the product line. Don't assume it will be all memory, because I doubt it. Remember also, they have a design center in India which is probably a lot cheaper, so they may just be moving the graphics design to that other center.
