If you can find me numbers showing UNIX gaining market share in ANY category,

UNIX isn't losing share in the enterprise systems but gaining approx 20% from what I have read. NT is just a hobby system used for print and mail servers. If you call people migrating from WinXX to NT as gaining share you don't understand what a enterprises systems is. Take a look at LINUX. I have this funny feeling it will be eating away from NT market down the road once the DOJ breaks up MS.

If you think other companies don't do this, you need to do a little research.

Okay I'll bite. I couldn't come up with any other company than MS. So please point me in the direction of a company that sells not ready for prime time products. Don't forget you can't use any ISV that develop for Windoze since a crappy OS hurts the ISV.
