Ibexx: you are right, the telecom market is converging. One of the best things in the book "gorilla game" is the explanation of the true nature of Cisco. My understanding from the book is, that once a company ties in with their network system, they can't change to Lucent, 3com, or bay . So Cisco will continue to domininate the networks. Lucent has this tremendous "in" with all the baby bells, because they were Bell Labs and sold them everything they have up to now.
Betty Ann: If I am selling against SAP, the first thing I say is that SAP is hard to install and my company is more "nimble" and quicker. Thats why SAP has countered with their latest "accelerated Sap".
Lucius: I think Mike Buckley's answer is right on. (glad to see you Mike, where do you find the time!) I probably should have stayed in Seibel, but I dumped all my software small caps to take my SAP position.
