FIELD ACTIVITIES / Willow Creek Expl. Progress Report

WILLOW CREEK EXPLORATION LTD. - PROGRESS REPORT -
JOHNNY RHODES 7-6#1 WELL, RANKIN COUNTY, MISSISSIPPI

CALGARY, ALBERTA--

Willow Creek Exploration Ltd. announces that the Johnny Rhodes
7-6 #1 well in the Pelahatchie Field reached a final total depth
of 11,800 feet, and production casing has been set to 11,716
feet. Analysis of logs and side wall cores indicate seven zones
with hydrocarbon shows in the Lower Cretaceous, at least three of
which should be commercially viable. These include the Hosston
11,300 foot zone, with 20 feet of gross pay, productive at rates
of up to 200 BOPD in offsetting wells, and the Rodessa 10,260
foot zone, with 10 feet of gross pay, which has been very
productive in other areas of the field. A completion of the
Hosston zone will commence shortly. Willow Creek has a 25%
Working Interest in this well.

In addition, as previously announced, a deeper pool test,
currently drilling ahead on the property, encountered 13
potential pay zones in the Lower Cretaceous, most notably, the
Hosston 11,300 foot zone which has 15 feet of pay from log
analysis. Willow Creek is not involved in the drilling of this
well, but retains the rights as to a 25% Working Interest in the
Lower Cretaceous should these zones be completed in the future.

The successful results of these two wells, approximately one mile
apart, is encouraging for further development on the property.
