Off Topic: Valuespec, just a bit of advice...

Take a look at TRII (Transcrypt International). They were traded on NASDAQ and had similar problems to CD. In fact, their situation was nearly identical to that of Cendant. They dropped from about $25 about 6 months ago to $4 today. They were delisted from NASDAQ due to the late filing of their 10-K report. (I believe their ticker changed to TRIIE - E means deficient). In any case, I lost a lot of money on Transcrypt International. They were very profitable and had solid fundamentals. However, they underwent a merger and had other accounting problems and eventually, turmoil hit. The point is, when there is fraud involved, the stock price will drop regardless of fundamentals. NB Montgomery sold a one-million (1,000,000) block of CD stock yesterday to drop it from $22 to $18. Today, Merril Lynch sold off huge volumes of their stake in CD to drop it to around $15.
Bottom-fishing CD is not a very wise move right now. Look at the indiviuals who bottom-fished CD around $20-25 a few months back when the first signs of problems occurred. My experiences with TRII has led me to stay away from bottom-fishing companies with fraud and accounting problems involved and to never fight the momentum. Many times, fundamentals are not as important as momentum...as you will probably see with CD. Good luck.

Valuespec:
I'm not going to attempt to portray your net name in a more accurate
light- though it deserves adjustment.

I'm not going to copy your posts on the Cendant thread where you tell
everyone what a great deal it is at $23.00 and why.

I'm just going to ask you to re evaluate your actions in regard to
our investment in FTEL, or anyone else's investment in any stock, as it relates to what has transpired with CD.

Reality is a humbling experience for all thinking individuals. This
is especially so for all that deal in truly speculative stocks;
Whether they be $23 investments or $2.50.

Accept the lesson CD has taught you and start behaving in a more
responsible fashion toward something beyond your ego. Most of the
people who have speculated as long as you say you have have learned this lesson.

I hope you do well from here forward with speculating and as a human.
