I'm curious why you think deferred revenue is a good thing? Another take is that this is one way to keep revenue from slipping too much for the next few quarters.

Anyone got an after hours quote?

Deferred Revenue increases with new licensees and when milestones are reached. The contract revenue comes out of deferred revenue. This is why we didn't get the $5 million upside surprise in revenues this quarter as you forecasted. This is discussed in the 10k which I recommend every one read.
