Almost anything is possible in the stock market, but I suspect most of the bad news is out. Management is already exposed to expensive litigation and I suspect the recent announcement leaned to the pessimistic side. Phoney optimism would only increase their risks, which could conceivably extend directly to management rather than the company. Litigation tends to be attracted to deep pockets, and the big dogs in Cendant are rich.
