From quote.com's ticker applet. There were two trades of 33 17/6 762200 (vol) at 16:07:20 and 16:08:02. I think that accounts for
the 1.5 million in volume.

There were two trades for 762,200 shares at 16:07, then 1000 shares at 16:41 and 100 shares at 16:41 for a total of -> 4,897,600.

I wouldn't worry if they were "buys or sells" - that is something that you can NEVER determine.

My S&P Comstock feed confirms Bruce's figures. Two back-to-back trades at the same price.
