Thomas-- OT
The action tonight has shifted to Champs de Mars-- thousands of cars are parked around Ave Foch as thousands celebrate Bastille day and fire works around Eiffel, it is the same place where a million collected a night before the Finale to listen to the three tenors- Pavaroti was at its best that night.

Today in the morning the doors of Elysees Palace were thrown open as President of the republic invited the proletariats and mixed with the commoners in a very un- Presidential manner, I think he is on the moon.

I am just amazed to see how much it means to nation to be the World Champs. Sports in my opinion and also my guru Bertrand Russell's opinion is a good way to chain human aggression. So much of national honor is staked on a win on the field that extreme national rivalries and huge national claims of pride are settled in 90 minutes, nice end to wars, Germans and French today are the backbone of the new extended European Community, Peace since 1945 has brought unprecedented affluence and progress, one just have to see and believe. Please accept my flecitations on what a beautiful place this boundary less Europe is. On a lighter side I never fail to notice the habits of the corporate sector which is catching up to learn fast from across the Atlantic to make better and leaner profit streams.
