Dear TJG: Nantucket? Not Texas? Great, choice, a new one. You have made my week and I will remember it for life. Sounds like one which might have been told by my Uncle who worked most of his life in Texas in construction. Mine was from real life experience. But I could stop before the "high noon heat" (my own home too slow with nails to be a roofer for pay) I wonder if that Red neck's girl fell for him... hook, line and sinker? Whom was baiting whom? Can't use Western roofing nails in Nantucket. The point is on the wrong end. Pitch in, keep on driving, stay out of the gutter, snap-a-line (maybe that Red neck's girl will bait it) Marshall A few years ago I bought and disassembled 6 each 18 foot diameter grain bins. Took me 8 hours per roof. Started on the east side and moved around away from the sun. Two of my sons were disassembling the sides, impact wrench & screwdriver. Let's see, to make this Midland Official: common (C), preferred (P), warrants (W)... in 25 words or less. Is it C to be a P of W or is it C to be a Midland P of W (prisoner of war). But look forward to FD (freedon day), VM day and then PD (pay day). Back to work, it is not dark yet. Was going to start irrigation tomorrow evening, checked pond pump but meter had a new steel shield with a padlock, phoned utility. They said that someone had shot the meter in June. They did not let me know. Will install a new meter Thursday. The wild West? They know when we are at church?

WAY OFF TOPIC OK! I have heard about enough from you greenhorn roofer bashers! I have been roofing 14 years and I have never seen people speak so loosely about roofers within earshot of one and still stand(magic of the internet). WE are watching you now so I hope all you bashers already have your roofs on. Bad enough us roofing contractors beat each other up. It is summer and as I KNOW it's chickens or feathers out there so stop distracting. WE(the secret universal association of roofers) will be watching. Never mind.... It's just the shingles talking! LOL! Sorry bout the off topic but you struck a chord with me obliviously.. FP
