I use Man but there are very many good ones. I think the CME or CBOT includes a list of them in a mailing when you ask for info.

LLG and J Aron are two that I have heard good things about, and of course I'm happy with Man.

Trades over here vary from 16/20 dollars all the way up to a hundred, from what I'm told. Normal is 20 to 40 and I pay 30. Plus a couple/three dollars in fees.

It's funny you should mention most people lose money with futures because I was just going through that today. I believe that if a positional traders "wins" better than 40% of the time s/he is doing well. Because a positional trader cuts the trade quickly on a stop loss.

Daytraders have much higher expectations because they are just in and out quickly. I've been doing better recently but that's just a streak. Normally I expect about 70%.

So you have to factor that in; whether you will be day-trading or position-trading. Good luck with it.
