C'mon DJane, I was just pulling your leg! <g>.

I respect you and Hitesh immensely. But with ASND the pattern seems very clear.

Summer, 1997 Earnings ests up to $0.33, which ASND couldn't meet, having allowed analysts to set expectations way too high.

Q3 1997. ASND warns of $0.18-$0.20 and comes in at the high end $0.20.

This allowed ASND to "take charge" of their subsequent quarters, by pushing out future revenue, managing down expectations and then exceeding by a penny each time. IMO, Ashby will hold this pattern indefinitely.

That's why I had no fear selling Friday at $53 (oh, a little when I saw it over $54 on Monday) or no hesitation buying back today at $49.5 on earnings "fears".

I think ASND's future earnings are a "known quantity" until I read evidence of a change in fundamentals.
