<<I think that the company now knows they have kimberlite nearby; With new, high resolution airmag data, they just have to drill a few targets. Alas, a real drill program! Money remains a problem, though.>>
If this is the case- they are not being very good to the shareholders about it. Why not say "We feel very strongly that we have Kimberlite nearby" get the stock up to 20 cents and do a private placement at that level. Since the Private placement was mostly subscribed to by insiders they would have wanted the stock price to be low. To hell with the existing shareholders. Something smells to me -they keep hinting at things with suggestive phrases. Why do they not just say it - if it is true. If what you feel is correct-why is no one buying at these low levels - reason is that it is still a straight crap shoot. Montello took a chance and missed -but they were honest about it -took their lumps- and now they are doing quite well. MEO use to trade at 10 % of Ashton. They are at 14% now which is a 40% relative improvement with enough volume to move in and out of the stock. JP
PS MMU used an auger drill not R/C.

The latest release from Marum displays a high possibility of intersecting diamondifirous pipes. Marum's slow approach is the way to go. Any positive ADP updates from any of the juniors will bring new money into Ashton as investors have the opportunity to compare the exploration progress to date. If anyone is interested, The Resource Indicator put out an alert on Marum this evening.

In the Feb 26, news release the following was said(See Marums home page)
"The purpose of the auger drilling procedure is to determine which of these targets are kimberlitic and warrant follow-up diamond drilling."

In April they say
"The intent of the drilling was to test overburden thickness and to obtain samples from basal till and bedrock in the vicinity of magnetic and/or physiographic anomalies defined by airborne and ground magnetic surveys."

I wish I could play the stock market using hindsight like that. JP
