'twas just a brush with madness
recalled to me this dream
of days with splendid colors washed
running thru magic streams
and canvas ever changing
to whims of childhood schemes

Somewhere amongst the music of the spheres...

Ohhhh bother! And again, bother! While anything in earth or heaven would trump being marooned inside that numbskull's rickety rackety head, so full of dangling participles and whatnot...what even was his ridiculous nomme de guerre, Juan F. Gonzales Quiros Guillermo Hourquescos Saldiver, I think that's it, it's been awhile.....truth to tell, this flitting and floating about the ether is becoming rank tedium. And my poetry's not going at all well. How to pen brilliance when you're twiddling your thumbs sailing about a sea of fliffy fluffy clouds on gossamer wings?

Well. Perhaps I shall swoop down there and take up dear Rambi on her invitation for tea and scones. Deucedly risky though. I heard from Coleridge that I'd risk involuntarily plunking myself inside somebody's noggin yet again. One moment I could be sitting there in my ectoplasmic way, enjoying a Darjeeling with that dear Rambi, and then, POP! I'd be rattling around inside her cranium! Hmmm. Maybe better not to risk it. Maybe I'll just carry on with my flitting, and keep an ear out in case she needs the help of an old ghost. Not much I can do to help her find that scrawny old good for nothing muleherd of hers though. Two centuries pass, and still no accounting for taste.

And I can listen to thee yet
Can lie upon the plain
And listen, till I do beget
That golden time again.

--William Wordsworth

Penni, While standing in the checkout line at the grocery store,
I did a quick browse of the August issue of Parenting
magazine in hopes of finding your article. Didn't spot it. Maybe
the wrong magazine or wrong month? Would appreciate any
guidance you can provide for finding the article (like the title
of the article, page no., etc.).
