John:

Learn to take a loss. Use the current strength to sell at least half your position tomorrow so you have money left to put in a winner. That is how the professionals play. The general rule on a stop loss is 7-10%

Regards,

Bruce

Given a 15%/yr PC growth rate, and AMD's sequential increase from 1.5mil to 2.7mil (80%) shipments of K6's, YUP AMD should have taken some market share. But this is a TINY fraction of the overall CPU shipments.

Re -- A short term AMD shareholder down $2 looking for ANYTHING positive.

Dont go for the 1 or 2 points. If you dont think AMD will recover sell.
