I hope AT&T can hold off their shareholder vote until after the new year. When the new settop boxes hit the shelves this Xmas the press and analyst should take notice. Also Goldman projected @home would be in the black by the first quarter. @homes value will have a profound effect on AT&T shareholder opinion and the vote to merge.

John, I am getting the feeling the merger may not go through,and think it may be T shareholders that reject it. The merger is not a done deal,the government will not interfere,but Malone has a huge ego,and I bet Armstrong does also. I think Armstrong got had by Malone,beat him like a rented mule. The T shareholders are the ones that have to approve this thing. TCI is in deep trouble,they need to be bailed out.
