LG report.

Well, guys, I tried to stay away from registering, because I do not have much to contribute to the quality of discussion here. But I always have tons of questions, so I finally decided to try it. By the way, English is not my mother tong, so bear with me, please.

Anyway, here are my questions. Is LG system cdmaOne? If, yes, then what do you make out of this report?
Bloomberg just reported that LG in SK said that its profit rose by 15.6% in the first 6 months of this year thanks to brisk sales of mobile phone handsets. The profit increase underscores, Bloomberg writes, how Korea's booming mobile phone market withstood the country's first recession in 18 years better than other industries, particularly companies that supply
the cheaper personal communication service. More than 10 million people, or one in four Koreans, owns a mobile phone, etc., etc.
First-half sales jumped 98% (recession? - what recession?-Alex)from a year earlier. Here is the link, but I am not sure it will work, sorry...
