AFTER THE BELL - Intel falls

NEW YORK, July 14 (Reuters) - Shares in Intel Corp. (INTC - news) fell in active post-session
trade Tuesday
after the company reported second-quarter earnings fell to $0.66 per share from $0.92 a year ago,
a larger
decline than expected.

The First Call consensus forecast was $0.68 per share.

Intel fell to 80-1/8 on the Instinet electronic trading system from a closing price of 80-11/16.

Seagate Technology Inc. (SEG - news) rose two to 27 on the Instinet system. The company
reported earnings for
the fiscal fourth quarter of $0.09 per share.
