Does it _really_ matter that MSFT owns 2% or 5% or the company? MSFT has enough influence over WAVO just on the basis of being big and dominant MSFT, not because it has 3% of the WAVO stock.

I strongly doubt that MSFT is currently very concerned about any price appreciation.

So I guess my question is what does MSFT get from owning only 3% of the company? At what point does their actual stock ownership actually have any influence over management or other value to them?
